ROAD TRIP:Colorado

Last weekend on like Thursday night i believe it was... me and Brooke were returning to our room and I realized that there was a slip of paper underneath the door. I picked it up it was a flyer for a Colorado road trip. Instantly I was like that would be way fun I've never been to Colorado before... But i def had to get my parents on board so i decided to bring it up see what they thought about the whole thing. So i asked my dad and mom and got the approval on account that the weather was good and we wouldn't have to brave the challenges of snowy weather through the Rocky's.... So i went and before i give any details it was prob one of the funnest (don't care if that's not a word I'm using it anyways) trips I've ever been on.

The drive to Colorado was a long 9 hour drive we encountered ice for a little bit but that was it for weather conditions everything else was fine and dandy on the road. We drove in a 4 car caravan down and got to Colorado safely at like 12:30

Famous gas station picture with the glasses

We had a 7-11 dance party to keep warm.

Me and Rachel

Me Rachel and Brigham with I heart Cuties stickers on our heads from the oranges we were eating

We stayed at a girl names Rachel's house in Colorado springs

The group

Then next morning we woke up got our BYU gear on and went to the BYU vs. AIR FORCE GAME!

The girls

The boys quoted saying "you can't make us smile... this is our game face"

Parachutes at the start of the game who brought the football into the stadium

They did push ups when they scored
This lady came up to us during half time to tell us what awesome BYU fans we were!!

Me and my cousin... Lees and Lybberts

It's another cougar first down! GRRRRRRR!!! (Rilyn and Jackson: doing the cougar growl)

TOUCH DOWN COUGARS!!!
The group had awesome celebration when we scored jumping cheering we even sang the fight song.

Me Rachel and Kel

We brought our own cheering sec. And we are thoroughly convinced that BYU only took a victory in that game because we drove all the way to cheer and support them...:)

Dave, Rachel, Keli, and Me smooooshing our way too church.

Then we went to church and went back to Provo dorm sweet dorm.

A gas station we stopped at that didn't have any gas... funny and weird

Some of the beautiful scenery we saw on our drive to and from Colorado.

It was a way fun weekend I got to know some kids in my ward better and had a blast of a time!

My first road trip I hope there are many more!!!

1...4...U...1...4....u...&1....4...U

This post is dedicated to all my missionaries (Elder Lybbert, Elder Lybbert yes there are two Elder Low, Elder Oaks, Elder Williams, Elder O'connor and well all the others who get letters from me) and to the post men and women who rain or shine, snow or wind deliver my letters unless of course there is the incorrect amount of postage on the letter and it gets sent back 4 times... because international postage when up and somebody forgot to tell me :)

Letters Letters and more letters!

The other day on the phone i was talking to my mom and i told her i had sent out happy Halloween cards to all my missionaries... well it was semi jokingly said seeing that all my missionaries are either related to me or my very good friends! But either way i claim them as my missionaries!

I love writing letters! So much so that i think it has become my new favorite Hobie!!

To all the missionaries thank you for the example to the me and more importantly to the world!

Date Nights

THis past weekend I had a memory jerker moment.... back to the days of Everett 3rd ward volleyball! Now your probibly thinking volleyball luc you were ten when we lived there but i'm talking about what the kids did when the mommies were playing volleyball... LAZER TAG!!! The cambell family who always had all the hightech gear but we all somehow had a set and would team up spread out and play all over inside outside... i think we enjoyed those fridays more than the moms did!

Well ya so back to what the week had to do with that memory... this past weekend i got drug on a hang out date but i was happily there i say dragged cuz i had no idea i was even on the date until he was paying for my dinner :) good laughes...But after dinner we went to a gettooo lazer tagging place and teamed up

I'm a big kid now!!!

So today for the first time ever in my human existence i voted for an election that was deciding more than next years' asb officer or who I want to be the homecoming queen. I felt like such a grown up and i have to admit at times it was kinda stressful but i did it! Hurray and i was so proud to walk my ballot up to the cannon center mail room and put it in with the other letters to send off my vote! It felt like the first time i graduated from the little kid table and ate with all the grown ups or the first time you realize you know how to pump on a swing and your daddy doesn't have to push you any more! (but dad don't take this as you are relieved from your pushing job out on the Lybberts' farm I'll want a push every time we go) Just wanted to share my growing up moment with Y'all happy voting day!!
