Robert and the Carols
This is my friend Robert center stage. I met him over summer he was not in my ward but hung out with everyone who was in my ward so he may as well have been. Also half way through the summer semester I realized he was in my choir class too. He is a very gifted musician ( guitar player pianist, vocalist, song writer) Over this past few months getting to know Robert he is one of the nicest people i have ever met. He is always happy and smiling and includes everyone. So his band played at the battle of the bands showcase at Velor a venue on univ. ave last Saturday. They are a cowboy and Indian band and in support of that they asked all their fans to dress up accordingly so we did. It was a great show and Roberts last before he goes on his mission to Canada the 31 of Dec. can't wait till they band gets home and they have their reunion show.

Rockin out to the Imagine Dragons another amazing band that preformed that night!

crunch crunch crunch

This morning we woke up to a blazing blizzard outside so what did i do? waited for the snow to stop threw on my boots and grandpa's sweater for warmth and took tons of pics of the campus all white and pretty! Everyone around me seemed to be all calm about the snow not me from Washington I was def FREAKING out! snow that actually sticks this is weird ha ha

Right out side my dorm

I spy the Y?

the never ending stairs

Tunnels echo

I love the snow and the cold it's for sure a change from what I'm used to but who says it's a bad change?! Not me... may there be many more snow adventures to come...

Can you keep a secret?

Peace and quiet are usually the things you look for in finding a nice study area on campus... well mine comes with quite a view.

The stair way that leads to my secret place!

The roman styled arches and the natural fountain are great for thinking and reflecting after a long day of classes.

The beautiful view on a crisp fall afternoon after my sociology class.

My Jksb balcony i love it!

This Semester I have been taking American Sign Language 101 and I LOVE IT. I guess according to my mom I have always had an interest in sign since I was in like the wee days of primary and well I guess it's fate that I take it in college now that I'm all grown up! Also thing that's kinda weird and funny is my friend ALEX got in my class just by chance first day of class was so great when we realized that we were in the same class. Everyday since has been a party we sit in the third row and laugh and have so much fun while learning of course... today i had my camera and we documented our adventures maybe 'll get some pics of us actually learning next time. Ha Ha!!

Alex likes to draw.... so she drew on my hand... say hello to RUPERT the ROBOT

ROAD TRIP:Colorado

Last weekend on like Thursday night i believe it was... me and Brooke were returning to our room and I realized that there was a slip of paper underneath the door. I picked it up it was a flyer for a Colorado road trip. Instantly I was like that would be way fun I've never been to Colorado before... But i def had to get my parents on board so i decided to bring it up see what they thought about the whole thing. So i asked my dad and mom and got the approval on account that the weather was good and we wouldn't have to brave the challenges of snowy weather through the Rocky's.... So i went and before i give any details it was prob one of the funnest (don't care if that's not a word I'm using it anyways) trips I've ever been on.

The drive to Colorado was a long 9 hour drive we encountered ice for a little bit but that was it for weather conditions everything else was fine and dandy on the road. We drove in a 4 car caravan down and got to Colorado safely at like 12:30

Famous gas station picture with the glasses

We had a 7-11 dance party to keep warm.

Me and Rachel

Me Rachel and Brigham with I heart Cuties stickers on our heads from the oranges we were eating

We stayed at a girl names Rachel's house in Colorado springs

The group

Then next morning we woke up got our BYU gear on and went to the BYU vs. AIR FORCE GAME!

The girls

The boys quoted saying "you can't make us smile... this is our game face"

Parachutes at the start of the game who brought the football into the stadium

They did push ups when they scored
This lady came up to us during half time to tell us what awesome BYU fans we were!!

Me and my cousin... Lees and Lybberts

It's another cougar first down! GRRRRRRR!!! (Rilyn and Jackson: doing the cougar growl)

TOUCH DOWN COUGARS!!!
The group had awesome celebration when we scored jumping cheering we even sang the fight song.

Me Rachel and Kel

We brought our own cheering sec. And we are thoroughly convinced that BYU only took a victory in that game because we drove all the way to cheer and support them...:)

Dave, Rachel, Keli, and Me smooooshing our way too church.

Then we went to church and went back to Provo dorm sweet dorm.

A gas station we stopped at that didn't have any gas... funny and weird

Some of the beautiful scenery we saw on our drive to and from Colorado.

It was a way fun weekend I got to know some kids in my ward better and had a blast of a time!

My first road trip I hope there are many more!!!
